Jerry Glanville, former head coach of the Atlanta Falcons and Houston Oilers, begins his second year with CBS Sports as an analyst on the "NFL Today Show", CBS's NFL pregame studio show. He joins host Jim Nantz, Craig James, Randy Cross, Mike Ditka and Marcus Allen in the studio. Glanville, an NFL game analyst for five seasons for Fox Sports, will continue as co-host of HBO's weekly football series "Inside the NFL." He served as head coach of the Atlanta Falcons for four seasons (1990-93). His best season in Atlanta came in 1991, when the team posted an 11-5 mark. He was the head coach of the Houston Oilers from 1986 through 1989, leading them to the playoffs in his last three seasons. In 1991, Glanville was inducted into the Atlanta Country Hall of Fame. On February 28, 2007, he accepted the head coaching position at Portland State University, his first college head coaching job and he will be PSU's 12th head coach in the history of the program.
