She has also served as a trusted advisor to some of the world’s best companies and organizations seeking to thrive in the ever-growing complexity of culture, diversity, talent engagement, and leadership. This includes having served the World Bank Group as an external diversity expert and being appointed to the NWBC (National Women's Business Council) non-partisan advisors to the President, Congress and the SBA on women's economic issues.
Deb is also an award-winning entrepreneur. Before establishing the Rosado Shaw Group, LLC. in 2004, Deborah started, grew, and sold a multimillion-dollar international merchandising company with customers that included Costco, Walmart, and The Walt Disney Company.

Deborah has been an activist in the health disparities conversation for many years. Her mother before her was a community health advocate and Deborah has been the voice and warrior for her disabled brother for the past 30 years. She lives this concern both professionally and personally and has led conversations/workshops/events addressing a full breadth of health care concerns from the impact of diversity on genetic research and therapeutic development to racial disparities in organ procurement and allocation.
