Todd is actively engaged in a number of organizations. He is the chairman of the Our Kids’ Health Foundation, a nonprofit which serves to help reduce physical inactivity and obesity among children in Texas. Todd is also a member of the International Association for Worksite Health Promotion (IAWHP) and the American College of Sports Medicine. For eight years Todd was the executive producer and host of Healthy Living with Dr. Ken Cooper, a nationally syndicated weekly radio program heard in 42 cities across the United States as well as online.
After receiving a bachelors of science in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise physiology from UCLA, Todd jumped feet first into a broadcasting career that took him from Washington D.C. to Phoenix and Dallas. He won multiple awards including an Emmy and a Katie while working at the ABC affiliate in Dallas. Todd still stays involved in television and since 2005 has served as the television host for the Dallas Marathon and the Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot.
