For two decades, Steve has worked on Wall Street as a trader and strategist, and presently he serves as head strategist for BGC Partners, providing risk management strategies to banks and hedge funds.
Cortes graduated from Georgetown University, which nominated him for the Rhodes Scholarship. He lives in Chicago with his wife and four children.
