Dr. E has served on the board of Fill A Heart for Kids, which works to foster children in the community. She and her family have volunteered their time supporting Feed My Starving Children. Dr. E is also the parent liaison for the parent-teacher board at her daughters school working with parents and administrators to help address mental health issues in the school community. Due to her husband’s ALS, Dr. E and her family has found support through their local ALS foundation, the Les Turner Foundation.
