She is currently the Founder and Executive Chairwoman of [solidcore], a fast-growing boutique fitness company she founded in DC in 2013. In just 8 years, Anne has grown her company to more than 80 locations (entirely corporately owned) across 27 states with more than 800 employees.
Anne has successfully raised more than $70M in private equity over the years to be able to grow [solidcore] across the US. Her vision has not wavered over the years. She wants to help as many people as possible create the strongest versions of themselves.
Anne is also the founder and former CEO of Back on My Feet a national non-profit organization that using running as a vehicle to help those experiencing homelessness change the way they see themselves so they could change the direction of their lives. She created this organization in 2007 and it has helped thousands of individuals achieve employment and more self-sufficient living.
Anne is also a motivational speaker and regularly speaks at corporate events, academic institutions and conferences on numerous topics including, leadership, being bold, finding your happiness, the business behind starting a nonprofit, and social change. She is also an active philanthropist, and has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to organizations serving people in recovery as well as organizations working to help the wrongly convicted.
Anne has been honored many times for her leadership and entrepreneurial spirit. An athlete at her core, she has competed 11 marathons and has done one on every continent, yes including Antarctica. She has found a new love in beach volleyball and plays very often. She also enjoys reading, writing and pretty much any board game. She is originally from Bismarck, North Dakota.

In 2007, Anne founded Back on My Feet (BoMF), a non-profit organization that uses the power of running to change the way those experiencing homelessness see themselves so they can make real change in their lives. Her vision for BoMF was simple, yet bold - to help as many people as possible and perhaps even change the perception of homelessness on a global scale. Today, BoMF is in 12 cities across the country and has helped thousands of people redefine and reclaim their lives.
